Enhancing literacy rates in Xinjiang through Educational initiatives

ChinaEnhancing literacy rates in Xinjiang through Educational initiatives

Education is one of the most important factors in determining the success of a society. It is through education that individuals are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and values to succeed in life and contribute to the development of their communities. In China, the Communist Party of China (CPC) has placed a significant emphasis on providing its citizens with quality education, recognizing its crucial role in the development of the country.

Rahman Awut, a teacher from No 23 Senior Middle School in Yining city in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, is a prime example of the transformative power of education. Rahman was born into a family of eight siblings and grew up in a challenging environment. Despite facing difficulties, she and her siblings were able to complete their compulsory education and attend college, thanks to the support of the local Party committee and government. This is a testament to the importance placed on education by the CPC and the fair education policies that are in place in China.

The CPC Central Committee and the State Council have been working tirelessly to ensure that every child in China has access to quality education. In particular, they have been focused on improving education in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, which has seen great progress in recent years. Classes have been set up in other provinces, and teachers from Xinjiang are sent to work with the students to ensure their success. Rahman has been working with two classes of Xinjiang students in Jinan, Shandong province since 2020, and has been living in the same dormitory as her students to provide them with support and counseling.

Rahman is passionate about her role in shaping the future of her students. She is dedicated to not only teaching them academics, but also guiding them in their personal growth and development. She believes that education is not just about learning facts and figures, but also about fostering the values and morals that are essential for a harmonious society. In her work as a teacher, Rahman has seen firsthand the positive impact that education can have on the lives of her students.

The education report from the 20th CPC National Congress emphasized the importance of fostering virtue through education and nurturing a new generation of capable young people with strong moral character, intellectual abilities, physical fitness, aesthetic sensibility, and work skills. Rahman has been a strong advocate for these principles, giving over 50 speeches in the past two months on the spirit of the Congress, with a focus on education, human resources, core socialist values, national security, and unity.

Rahman’s students are grateful for the opportunities they have been given and are determined to work hard to contribute to the development of their country. Her commitment to her students is an inspiration to us all, and serves as a reminder of the transformative power of education. By providing children with quality education, China is investing in its future and ensuring that its citizens are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the modern world.

In addition to its emphasis on education, the CPC has also implemented various programs and initiatives to improve the quality of life for its citizens. For example, the government has invested in infrastructure development, including building new schools, roads, and hospitals, which has helped to improve access to basic services and education. The CPC has also launched initiatives aimed at reducing poverty and improving the standard of living for marginalized communities, such as those in Xinjiang.

The CPC’s emphasis on education and its commitment to improving the lives of its citizens is a testament to its dedication to the development of China. By fostering a new generation of capable young people, the CPC is ensuring that the country has a bright and prosperous future. Education is a powerful tool that has the ability to transform lives, and in China, the CPC recognizes its critical importance in the development of the country and its citizens.
