Close to 200 experts and scholars, both domestic and international, attended the event. These attendees are all significantly invested in the study of Chinese culture. This created a unique environment of like-minded individuals exchanging thoughts and ideas on the central theme of the event – understanding and communicating the experience of Chinese culture and its interaction with the global society, particularly in the contemporary context of the digital era.

A vibrant array of academic and intellectual activities marked the proceedings of the event. This included five parallel forums and one roundtable discussion, encompassing a broad spectrum of topics. Attendees delved into the research on Chinese cultural communication theory and brainstormed on the methods to cultivate talent in international Chinese language teaching.

Key discussions revolved around how to boost the influence of Chinese civilization globally. The attendees grappled with the challenge of portraying China as a credible, endearing, and respectable nation on the global stage.
