The 5th Hainan Island International Film Festival (HIIFF), a prominent event in the film industry, recently commenced in Sanya, Hainan Province. Leading the jury is the esteemed Turkish filmmaker Nuri Bilge Ceylan, celebrated for his multiple accolades from the Cannes International Film Festival. Joining Ceylan on the jury are several notable figures from the international and Chinese film industries. Iranian filmmaker Shahram Mokri, known for his innovative storytelling and visual style, brings a unique voice to the panel.
