Set against the backdrop of a cold London night, “Skylight” weaves the intricate story of Tom, a successful restaurateur, and his former lover, Kyra, a high school teacher. The plot unfolds as Tom seeks to rekindle their past relationship, navigating the complexities arising from their vastly different worlds and values.
In the Chinese version of “Skylight,” the character of Tom is brought to life by Yang Yi, a nationally celebrated actor and recipient of the 17th Shanghai Magnolia Award for Best Actor.
