New Emails Reveal Elon Musk’s Planned Visits to Jeffrey Epstein’s Island

WorldAmericaNew Emails Reveal Elon Musk's Planned Visits to Jeffrey Epstein's Island

Newly released documents from the Department of Justice have surfaced, detailing email exchanges between tech mogul Elon Musk and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The correspondence, spanning 2012 and 2013, indicates that Musk expressed interest in visiting Epstein’s infamous private island on multiple occasions. These revelations appear to contradict Musk’s previous public statements denying any significant ties to Epstein.

Detailed Email Exchanges

The released documents include several email exchanges where Musk and Epstein planned potential meetings. In one instance from December 2013, Musk inquired about visiting the island during the holidays, asking, “Is there a good time to visit?” Epstein responded affirmatively, offering to arrange helicopter transport. Another exchange from November 2012 saw Musk asking, “What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?” indicating an interest in social events.

While the emails do not confirm whether Musk ultimately visited the island, they suggest that logistical issues, rather than a firm refusal on Musk’s part, prevented the visits from materializing. In one instance, Epstein himself canceled a planned meeting due to his schedule. These communications occurred after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting prostitution from a minor.

Contradictions and SpaceX Meetings

Musk had previously stated in a 2019 interview with Vanity Fair that Epstein “tried repeatedly to get me to visit his island. I declined.” He reiterated this stance on social media in September 2025, stating, “Epstein tried to get me to go to his island and I REFUSED.” The newly surfaced emails directly challenge these assertions, showing Musk actively engaging in discussions about visiting the island and inquiring about parties.

Beyond the island visits, the documents also suggest other interactions. An email from Epstein’s assistant in early 2013 indicates plans for a lunch meeting at SpaceX’s office, though it remains unclear if this meeting took place or if Musk was present. Another email from Epstein congratulating Musk after a SpaceX rocket launch in March 2013 further points to ongoing communication.

Broader Context

The release of these emails is part of a larger trove of approximately 3 million documents related to the Epstein investigation made public by the Department of Justice. These files are shedding light on Epstein’s connections with numerous influential individuals. Musk has not been accused of any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.
