Chinese artificial intelligence company iFlytek announced that it will incorporate ChatGPT-related technology into its products, such as learning machines. The company plans to hold a product launch event in May to showcase the new features.
iFlytek is known for its voice recognition and automatic translation services, and has recently prioritized developing generative AI pre-training large-scale models. Generative AI refers to algorithms that are trained to produce new text, images, code, video or audio.
Liu Qingfeng, chairman of iFlytek, spoke at a recent conference about the company’s commitment to expanding the use of AI innovation and services in the automotive, medical, and education industries. The incorporation of ChatGPT-related technology is a part of this effort.
The company expects that its net profit will grow more than 30 percent annually beginning in 2023, thanks to the integration of AI technologies. iFlytek’s adoption of this technology also reflects the increasing importance of generative AI in a wide range of industries, as companies seek to provide more advanced and innovative products and services.
