BusinessLinkedIn Admires Chinese Companies' Globalization Efforts, Offers Assistance in Expanding Presence

LinkedIn, the California-based professional networking platform provider, has expressed admiration for Chinese companies’ efforts to expand globally, and has pledged to assist more domestic companies to increase their global presence.

According to Lu Jian, President of LinkedIn China, Chinese businesses from the intelligent manufacturing and new energy sectors have brought new dynamics with technology and business model innovation to the global market, resulting in the emergence of many Chinese brands with a strong global influence.

Lu Jian also remarked that Chinese businesses developing globally have started to integrate with local markets, rooted in the local culture, and even greatly promoted the development of local economies.

After reviewing the annual Government Work Report delivered at the two sessions on Sunday, Lu Jian commended China’s successful expansion of international economic and trade cooperation to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes over the past five years.

However, given the uncertainties in the global business environment, Chinese companies seeking global development are also facing evolving challenges, which put forward new requirements on their capabilities and competitive advantages in all dimensions, from global strategy formulation to local organization and talent team building, from brand marketing to operation compliance.

To address these challenges, Lu Jian suggested that companies continue to improve their talent management and training model with a focus on “flexibility” and “skills”.

Moreover, to achieve steady progress in overseas markets, Chinese companies should also focus on improving their digital marketing capabilities, Lu Jian added.
