The event aimed to raise awareness about climate change and inequality while world leaders convened at the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact.
With the iconic Eiffel Tower as a backdrop, the concert gathered an array of influential voices who delivered powerful speeches and captivating musical performances. Climate activists and leaders from countries such as Brazil, Kenya, Barbados, and representatives from the World Bank took the stage alongside celebrities like Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh.
Billie Eilish, known for her environmental advocacy, emphasized the urgency of the moment, calling for a systemic change to address the climate crisis. She highlighted the importance of ensuring that those most affected by climate change receive the necessary support to combat it. The concert took place against the backdrop of the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact, where around 40 world leaders gathered to discuss and advance a new global finance agenda.
