However, actress Laura Linney, who dons the role of Regina, O’Connor’s mother, and other characters in “Wildcat,” urged audiences to consider the broader spectrum of O’Connor’s contributions. She emphasized that reducing O’Connor solely to her controversial views would be an oversimplification. “O’Connor’s stories dive deep into human frailties, forcing readers to confront uncomfortable truths,” Linney stated.
