Chi Pu’s journey in the Chinese entertainment industry exemplifies the shared cultural experiences and deepening friendship between the two countries.

Chi Pu’s performances on “Sisters Who Make Waves” captivated the Chinese audience, with videos related to her garnering over 320 million views on Douyin. Her participation in the Chinese food-and-travel show “A Delicious Guess” further broadened her exposure, allowing her to delve into various cultural aspects and local cuisines of China.

Her increasing popularity in China led to appearances in TV shows and events, including a standout performance at the 2023 Mango Festival in Hunan Province, where she performed a duet with US singer Amber Liu. This collaboration, along with her other appearances, solidified Chi Pu’s role as a cultural bridge between Vietnam and China.

Chi Pu’s experience in “Sisters Who Make Waves” was marked by cultural exchange, as participants shared dishes from their hometowns, with Chi Pu introducing Vietnamese specialties like Hanoi’s sticky rice cake. Her eagerness to learn about Chinese culture and her efforts to promote Vietnam’s cultural richness have made her an ambassador of cross-cultural understanding.

Following her success, Vietnam launched its version of “Sisters Who Make Waves,” attracting a wide local audience and featuring famous Vietnamese celebrities.
