Chanel Unveils Spring/Summer 2025 Collection on Iconic Runway in Paris

LifestyleFashionChanel Unveils Spring/Summer 2025 Collection on Iconic Runway in Paris

Chanel transformed the Grand Palais into a stunning tribute to its heritage on Tuesday, unveiling its Spring/Summer 2025 collection on a runway shaped like its signature interlocking C logo. The elegant white-carpeted set provided a striking stage for models to showcase the latest creations from the legendary fashion house.

The collection embraced a pastel palette, with shimmering dresses and sharply tailored jackets dominating the lineup. The designs emphasized bold, rounded shoulders, adding a modern twist to the classic Chanel silhouette. Among the standout pieces were trim jackets with sculpted shoulders, sheer dresses adorned with delicate feathers, and voluminous skirts paired with flowing sleeves.

As the final model exited the runway, the audience momentarily hesitated, seemingly expecting the traditional designer’s bow. However, with Chanel currently without a creative director, the moment passed, and attendees made their way out into the Parisian breeze.

The collection was designed by Chanel’s in-house team following the unexpected departure of Virginie Viard last year. The prestigious label recently announced that Matthieu Blazy will take the reins as creative director later in 2024. Blazy, known for revitalizing Bottega Veneta, is expected to bring fresh energy to Chanel while honoring its storied legacy.

The show was part of the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, which runs through January 30 and features some of the most renowned names in the industry. Other major fashion houses, including Dior, Valentino, and Jean Paul Gaultier, are also set to present their collections, making Paris once again the epicenter of high fashion.

Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2025 showcase demonstrated the brand’s continued dedication to craftsmanship, elegance, and innovation. With Blazy’s arrival on the horizon, the future of the house promises a dynamic blend of tradition and modernity, ensuring its place at the forefront of the fashion world.
