Akur8, a prominent global actuarial AI platform, has announced its strategic acquisition of Slope Software, a cloud-native actuarial modeling provider. This move significantly broadens Akur8’s market reach, extending its capabilities beyond Property and Casualty (P&C) into the Life and Annuity (L&A) insurance sector. The integration aims to create a unified platform serving actuaries across multiple insurance lines with advanced AI-driven tools.

The acquisition marks a pivotal moment for Akur8, fulfilling its mission to provide actuaries worldwide with best-in-class tools. Slope Software, founded in 2015 in Atlanta, has established a strong customer base, including tier-one life insurers, reinsurers, and consulting firms.
