LangBoat, a Chinese provider of large language models, has announced the completion of its Pre-A plus round of fundraising, which has brought its total financing to several hundred million yuan. The fundraising round was led by Beijing Zhongguancun Science City Co and attracted previous investors including investment firm Sinovation Ventures and Eight Roads.
Founded in 2021, LangBoat is a cognitive intelligence company that focuses on the second generation of AI large models. Its products are mainly based on natural language process technologies and its own independent Mencius large model.
According to Zhou Ming, founder and CEO of LangBoat, the company has already offered several enterprise-level solutions, such as machine translation and financial NLP, and has collaborated with several companies in public opinion analysis and literature creation.
“Within two years, LangBoat has gained momentum in launching several products and iterations of the Mencius large model. The new round of financing will be used for research and development of core technology products and marketing for sustainable development,” he said.
With the increased funding, LangBoat plans to focus on the research and development of core technology products and marketing efforts to drive sustainable growth. The company’s innovative approach to large language models has attracted attention and investment from leading players in the industry, indicating strong potential for further success in the future.
