Archaeological experts from the Shanxi Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and local cultural relics and archaeology departments in Shuozhou have made significant discoveries regarding the Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770-256 BC) at the Houzhai Tombs in Shanxi province. According to the latest excavation information published by the institute, a total of 321 tombs and numerous pottery artifacts were unearthed in the area between October 2019 and December 2020.
