From the energetic girl group NewJeans to the much-awaited return of boy band Exo, a line-up of the genre’s heavyweights is all set to dominate music charts in the weeks to come.

Kicking off the release calendar is NewJeans, which is scheduled to launch their second mini-album titled Get Up on July 21, as announced by their managing company Ador. Known for their distinctive and diverse musical styles, the album features six tracks in total, including three lead singles named “Super Shy”, “ETA”, and “Cool With You”. The group is expected to reveal “Super Shy” and “New Jeans” on July 7, a fortnight ahead of the official EP release. Fans can anticipate an exceptional viewing experience as Ador confirmed music videos for all six songs, showcasing collaborations with global brands and special guest appearances.

Exo, a boy group that took a four-year hiatus, will make a much-anticipated comeback with their seventh studio album Exist on July 10. In the lead-up to their album’s launch, they have already introduced fans to one of their new songs, “Let Me In”, which has since climbed to the top of the iTunes chart in 33 regions.

Adding to the excitement of the month, ZeroBaseOne (ZB1), a project boy group created through the Mnet audition programme Boys Planet (2023), are set to debut with Youth in the Shade on July 10.

Following ZB1’s launch, NCT Dream will release their third full-length album, ISTJ, on July 17. The album features 10 diverse tracks, including “Broken Melodies”, which has already made waves on streaming platforms.

Closing the month with a bang, Itzy is gearing up to release their eagerly awaited album Kill My Doubt on July 31. The album is fronted by the lead single “Cake”, along with five other tracks.
