The advent of advanced technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), has profoundly influenced various industries, including the art sector. Zheng Chujia, who leads a design studio based in Shenzhen, recognizes this transformative impact of AI. He acknowledged that the emergence of AI art tools has led to staff reductions in the studio by almost 20 percent.

AI tools, according to Zheng, are essentially equipped to replace most designers within the studio. The incorporation of AI has been so effective that it necessitates a rethinking of the existing human workforce dynamics in the field of art and design.

As he contemplates the future interplay between humans and AI, Zheng perceives the need for harmonious coexistence. This, in his view, involves educating staff to harness the capabilities of AI fully. He advocates for the integration of AI technology into university curriculum, underscoring the crucial role of human intellect in distinguishing and selecting the outputs generated by AI.

Turning our gaze to the realm of cultural exploration, museums are witnessing a surge in popularity, particularly among young individuals. The trend of museum visits is on the rise, with more young people sharing their experiences of museums or exhibitions on social media platforms. A lifestyle shift seems to be underway, as indicated by a 2023 museum data report which shows that individuals born in the 2000s tend to consume more museum-related videos than other age groups.

Li Yizhan, a junior student at Wuhan University, reflected on the allure of museums. He finds museums as windows to understand a city’s heritage and culture, making it a point to visit the local museum every time he travels to a new city. The historic significance of relics and the ability to condense millennia of history into a few hours are aspects that deeply resonate with him.

In the world of sports, Chinese soccer player Tu Linli is making a name for herself in the Icelandic Premier League. She plays for the Keflavik Women’s Football Club and emerged as the top scorer last season by clinching the Golden Boot. Despite having only played nine league games so far, she has already scored four goals and currently holds the fourth place in the league scoring list.

After a four-year hiatus from Chinese soccer, Tu’s prowess was once again highlighted in autumn 2022 when she scored 16 goals for the FHL club in the Icelandic Women’s First Division, earning her the league’s Golden Boot. Her aspirations extend to participating in the World Cup and the Olympics. Tu remains steadfast in her resolve to prove her abilities and to achieve her ambitious goals.
