Stella McCartney Unveils Feminine Power Dressing at Winter 2025 Show

LifestyleFashionStella McCartney Unveils Feminine Power Dressing at Winter 2025 Show

Stella McCartney showcased her Winter 2025 collection in an unexpected venue—an office building—where she redefined power dressing with a blend of sharp tailoring and feminine silhouettes. Guests, including French First Lady Brigitte Macron, actress Cameron Diaz, and designer Tom Ford, were welcomed into a space styled with desks, water coolers, and copy machines. Seated around office setups, attendees received sticky notes as a playful nod to the setting.

Opening the show was model Natalia Vodianova, who wore an all-grey ensemble featuring a double-breasted jacket, high-gloss over-the-knee boots, and matching gloves. Her sleek ponytail added to the polished aesthetic. The collection continued with a mix of structured and flowing pieces, including thick hooded sweaters, denim, suits adorned with tassels, and intricately draped minidresses.

McCartney described the collection as a celebration of her brand’s signature styles, emphasizing a seamless transition from daywear to evening attire. “I was thinking the best of, the best of, the best of,” she said after the show, reflecting on her desire to highlight the essence of her label. This marks her first runway presentation as an independent designer after repurchasing LVMH’s minority stake in her brand earlier this year. While she remains a sustainability advisor for LVMH, McCartney expressed that reclaiming full control of her label had always been her ultimate goal. “It’s just always been the goal, always the dream, and it’s the right time,” she explained.

The show took an unexpected turn with pole dancers performing in sparkling leotards, reinforcing McCartney’s message of celebrating female empowerment. She contrasted this with her firm stance against exotic skins in fashion, stating, “The use of exotic skins has just got to end.” As a designer committed to sustainable luxury, McCartney continues to push boundaries while staying true to her ethical values.

With a collection that effortlessly balances strength and elegance, McCartney’s latest presentation reaffirmed her ability to challenge conventions while maintaining her signature approach to modern femininity.
