Hosted by the Philippine Consulate General in Shanghai, the event witnessed the participation of the Royal Thai Consulate General along with representatives from various Thai-owned businesses. The occasion was held with the primary intent of strengthening the ASEAN family ties and fostering an environment of mutual understanding, solidarity, and friendship among the ASEAN family members. Additionally, it aimed to raise awareness and promote the role of ASEAN within Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta.
The ASEAN Family Day holds immense significance in fostering relationships among the ASEAN member states. ASEAN, or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, is an intergovernmental organization comprising ten countries in Southeast Asia.
