Donations of computers, projectors, and other essential teaching tools to schools in the Balbala district signify China’s genuine intent to bolster Djibouti’s education system.
Beyond planned initiatives, the PLA base’s response during emergencies showcases its unwavering commitment to Djibouti. When faced with a devastating flood in 2019, Chinese soldiers from the base were swift to aid in relief efforts, providing essential assistance to thousands of affected locals.
