Ayana Estate, located in Indonesia, is introducing a groundbreaking destination camp in Southeast Asia, providing an unprecedented experience for children lasting up to four weeks. This unique program encompasses a wide range of activities, including farming, jungle survival skills, and cooking classes. Children can retreat to their private villa with a personal plunge pool after an eventful day. Green Camp, situated on a stunning 222-acre resort in Bali, distinguishes itself as a remarkable venue for this extraordinary camp.
Starting from July 4th, Ayana Estate will pioneer this exceptional offering in Southeast Asia, offering an extensive array of activities without repetition throughout the four-week duration. The camp is divided into two age groups: children aged two to six can partake in themed week-long units designed in collaboration with Guidepost Montessori, a renowned global school provider, while children aged seven to 12 engage in activities organized by Green School Bali, a prestigious private school popular among expats. Pricing varies, with entry-level rooms starting at approximately $235 for a family of four, and a two-bedroom villa with an ocean view priced at around $1,000 per night during the summer season.
Ayana Estate boasts a multitude of amenities, including rooms with patios overlooking a lagoon-style pool that beautifully encompasses the property. With a total of 14 swimming spots, not including the beach, guests can enjoy a refreshing swim. Additionally, all guests have access to a clifftop spa. Camp tuition incurs an additional cost, with Ayana’s offerings priced below $600 per week.
What sets this camp apart is its exceptional curriculum, surpassing the typical offerings of a resort children’s club. For instance, Guidepost at Ayana aims to provide a seamless transition for children aged two to six who are already enrolled in a Montessori school worldwide, emphasizing hands-on learning. The week-long units concentrate on nature, culture, food, and ocean life, providing a familiar experience for children attending preschool Montessori curriculums in cities such as Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Bangkok, or Rome. According to Giordano Faggioli, Ayana’s general manager, this familiarity will resonate with children and create a sense of comfort and continuity.
